Testimonials

“The children at Kippax Ash Tree came up with the suggestion of a sensory garden and Stuart Harris from Learning Landscapes made the suggestion a reality. He listened really carefully to our proposals, was able to offer sound advice and alternative suggestions and then came up with a super design. The raised beds in the garden are accessible to all our children, including those in wheelchairs; we have a range of plants to attract a variety of insects; we have a poly tunnel in which we can propagate our own seedlings as well as water butts and composting bins. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again for any future projects.”
Vicky Ford , Head Teacher, Kippax Ash Tree Primary School, Leeds.

“Stuart and the team worked very hard to get the job done in all weather. It was nice to have the person who designed the area actually build it too and be able to liaise with him throughout. They left the site clear and tidy at the end and the staff, parents and children were very pleased with the work done.”
Clare Andrews , Science Teacher, Harrogate High School.

“The finished site has provided a safe and stimulating environment for the children to experience at first hand some of the wonders of the natural world. It was a real pleasure to have Stuart work at the school as he was always prompt, meticulous in his work and with a very easy but professional manner. It was apparent that he had a great enthusiasm for his work and anticipated the pleasure that such a project would bring to the children.
It is hoped that, in the near future the school will be able to develop a new area with more raised beds. The work would certainly go to Learning Landscapes.”
Anne Gurney, Teacher, Byron Primary School, Bradford.

“The parents and children have all commented on what a difference the willow sculptures have made to the front of our school. Already the buds and new leaves have started to appear and we can’t wait until the finer weather before we really get to enjoy this lovely addition to school.”
Andrew Wilcock, Head Teacher, Woodlands Primary School, Bradford.
